The class was Hal Croasmun's Scriptforsale class called "The Fresh and Edgey Class. This is extreme compared to what was neccessary since it's desinged to elevate cliché scenes. The most cliché scene would be a good challenge. The cop refusing to drop a case and the cheif asking for their badge and piece.
