From the day I was born,
Sensory experience has guided me,
For what I have learnt through the years,
Has led me to this place I see.
I have been programmed for sadness.

Animalistic instinct,
Accepts this reality,
For we see it as the world we are in,
And justify it accordingly.

Life as we know it,
May not be what it seems,
For it could all be an illusion,
For our senses to perceive.

With this simple small idea,
You can always find something to smile at,
